A first-timer's guide to Nuvella Speed Events

Speed Events run entirely inside the app — no travel required. You'll be matched into a queue of short, timed video introductions with people who share your general compatibility range.

Keep it light: have two or three questions ready, and don't worry about silences — the timer moves things along automatically. At the end of each round, you can tap 'connect' if you'd like to keep talking, and it only becomes a match if they tap it too.

Most first-timers report their nerves disappear after the first round. Check the Events tab for the next live session near you.
